Hanover, Massachusetts, is located along the Route 3 corrider, midway from Boston to Cape Cod. With nearly 1000 businesses, many located along Rt. 53, Hanover remembers her early years on the Town Seal, with an anchor and plow. Ships were built and launched on the North River, and Hanover's forges turned out anchors for the United States Navy. Also depicted on the seal are the words "Old Ironsides", as one of those anchors was part of the original outfitting of the USS Constitution!
Just released news: "The Fed leaves rates alone at 5.25 %" The stock market reacted with a short spike up, but that seems to be settling back.
